A funky yet timeless vow renewal
Some love stories deserve more than one celebration—Devra and Zach’s is one of them! These two originally tied the knot in an intimate micro-wedding during the COVID lockdowns, but once they had the chance to throw the big party they’d always dreamed of, they went for it.
Devra wore her mother’s wedding gown – giving it a modern, whimsical twist with bold green boots and a crown fit for a queen. Zach brought all the dapper vibes in a three-piece navy plaid suit, complete with an heirloom pocket watch that added a timeless touch.
The day was filled with meaningful personal details, blending traditions in a way that reflected both of their backgrounds. Before their ceremony, they signed their ketubah, marking their commitment in Jewish tradition. Since their original wedding was a secular ceremony, this time they embraced a traditional Jewish wedding, adding a new layer of significance to their vows. One of the most touching details? Zach’s Christian family contributed a tiny handmade quilt to drape alongside the bride’s family tallit on the chuppah, creating a symbol of love and unity that perfectly captured their families coming together.
And, of course, no epic wedding celebration is complete without a party that screams “this is so us.” After the formal dances and the always-joyful hora, Devra and Zach had a surprise for their guests—wedding trivia! Because what better way to end the night than testing their loved ones on fun facts about their relationship?
From heartfelt traditions to a dance floor full of energy, Devra and Zach’s vow renewal was everything they wanted—an unforgettable night surrounded by their favorite people, celebrating love, laughter, and their journey together.
Cheers to round two of “I do!”
