As soon as they got engaged, Chloe and Karl decided to take a trip
When Chloe and Karl contacted me, they were still giddy about Karl’s recent proposal and let me know they had decided to plan a last min trip to NYC to celebrate their love and the beginning of the rest of their lives together.
They decided we needed to visit to Summit One Vanderbilt during their photos, to capture that on top of the world feeling and also honor Karl’s love of New York’s architecture. I suggested we should also start our session in Grand Central. Having grown up in the suburbs, taking trains down the Hudson and emerging in the grand hall every time I visited the city, there is nothing that captures New York’s classic yet modern, beautiful and bustling energy than Grand Central Terminal. Also, I love pointing out the dirty brick on the ceiling and telling the story of how First Lady Jackie saved the building.
So, together we created a session that captured their love with a backdrop of my favorite, crazy and beautiful city.
