A Sunny Brunch Wedding at Milk and Roses

On Mary and Joshua’s wedding day, we got lucky with one of those crisp and sunny October day’s that you dream about the rest of the year.

I love brunch weddings. You get the best lighting as you’re usually doing portraits nice and early, and the reception feels like having brunch with your friends at the best outside dining space. And I mean, who doesn’t love day drinking?

The day started at a suite in the Box House Hotel, where Mary was getting ready with the help of her mom and _ beauty. We did their first look in front of the cool vintage car parked at the hotel, and then headed back up for privacy of the hotel’s balcony so Mary and Joshua could share their vows. We then walked over to Milk and Roses where their loved ones were waiting for the big ceremony, followed by a delicious brunch and lots of dancing.
