An iconic New York engagement shoot at the Brooklyn Bridge and Grand Central

When you come to New York right after getting engaged, you need to get some pictures

Jess and Kyran are going to tie the knot this summer at a picturesque Italian villa, but before that they decided to honor their jet setting ways with engagement photos in NYC during a family trip to the big apple. When Jess sent me her inspo board I immediately knew I was going to love this shoot, and we might have ended up going a little (a lot) past their time becuase we both kept going “wait one more thing”. We met up just after sunrise at the Brooklyn Bridge – my favorite time to go because of the incredible light and lack of wandering tourists and tchotchke salesmen – then ran around the City Hall subway station before heading uptown to Grand Central Terminal. Jess brought a veil with her to add a little extra pizzazz to her engagement photos, and the shots with it are some of my favorite from the morning!
